  • DO NOT discuss your case with anyone other than your Doctor and Attorney.
  • DO NOT miss appointments with your Doctor.
  • DO NOT agree to insurance company requests for a second opinion examination without talking to your Doctor and Attorney first.
  • DO NOT delay in submitting claims through your Doctor or Attorney for immediately available insurance coverage.
  • DO keep all your Doctor appointments and follow all recommendations of your Doctor.
  • DO provide your Doctors office with all potential insurance billing information.
  • DO keep your receipts. Record all use of crutches, braces and similar appliances and all medications.
  • DO take photographs of your bodily injuries, property damage, and the accident scene.
  • DO keep a daily diary of changes in your life arising from your injuries, including activities missed or done with pain.
  • DO notify your Doctor and Attorney of changes in the status of your injuries
  • DO notify your Doctor and Attorney immediately of changes in address, telephone number, or employment.
  • DO notify your Doctor and Attorney of time missed from work because of injuries.
  • DO notify your Doctor and Attorney if you receive any materials from the insurance companies.
  • DO discuss openly with your Doctor all elements of your injuries. At each appointment tell your Doctor the effect the injuries are having on your life and employment.
