L. JEANNE SOCKLE
ADVOCATE FOR JUSTICE
 |
I am an attorney who believes strongly in protecting the rights
of people who have been injured by medical negligence. While our
national health care system has made great technological advances,
an outrageously high number of people are injured or killed each
year by avoidable medical errors. The victims of malpractice deserve
to be compensated, and those responsible must be held accountable.
I am a graduate of the Washington State Bar Association
Law Clerk Program. Washington is on of the states that
provide this alternative means of studying law. Rather than attending
traditional law school, I worked and studied as a clerk in the law
firm under the supervision of the WSBA. Before becoming an attorney,
I had worked for thirteen years as a legal assistant/paralegal.
I have the best of both forms of legal education - formal academic
training and thirteen years of on-the-job experience. Additionally,
I have an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from University
of Maryland and my Bachelor's Degree from Evergreen
State College.
I am an active member of the Washington State Trial Lawyer
Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers
of America. Both organizations are dedicated to preserving
the rights of injured people and to protecting the civil rights
of all Americans.
If you or a loved one has suffered because of what you think may
be malpractice by a doctor, nurse or hospital, please call. I want
to help you get answers to your legal and medical questions.
Call us if you need help. |
