Chelsea joined the Morris Sockle Posadas team in June 2023 and has been practicing law since 2019. Her background includes highly contentious divorce cases, complex child custody disputes, and criminal law representation. Family law is where she truly shines, and her thorough, exceedingly successful parenting plans are some of her proudest professional achievements. 

Whether it be in her favorite TV shows or in her own life, Chelsea has always admired those with strength and drive to reach their goals. Coming from a family who values healthy debate, she knew that becoming an attorney was her calling. 

When in court and in the weeds of tough litigation, Chelsea is well known for being a fierce, steadfast defender with unwavering determination. Her tenacity and fortitude remain beyond the courtroom, but her empathetic yet personable nature instills confidence in her clients. Staying focused on clients’ goals and earning their trust is of utmost importance to her. Amongst all the uncertainty and tumult of a difficult family law case, Chelsea will be your calm in the storm. 

Chelsea earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Evergreen State College and received her Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law. She serves as an Eagle member of the Washington State Association for Justice and is a member of the Thurston County Bar Association. 

After moving around the Puget Sound for most of her life, Chelsea is thrilled to be back in her hometown of Olympia with her husband and cat, Winston Jerry Churchill. Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys woodworking, watching horror movies, and cheering on her favorite hockey team, the Seattle Kraken.
