Leading a life of service has always been a pillar of my identity.
In January 2012, I had the great pleasure of joining the Utah Air National Guard. Over the span of eight years, I learned many valuable lessons rooted in the spirit of integrity, honor, and excellence. Above all, I took the Air Force’s core value of “Service Before Self” to heart. I decided to become a lawyer to exercise my ideals in a new sphere.
I moved up to Spokane, WA and received my Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University School of Law.
I specifically chose Family Law after working for a non-profit that assists families who go through hardship and trauma. There, I realized that not every legal matter is black and white. Many clients need a strong, dedicated advocate who is willing to help them navigate the legal issues that greatly impact their lives. Mitigating fear and alleviating the stressors of an oftentimes confusing and frustrating legal situation are some of my top priorities.
As a former intern at the Spokane County Public Defender’s Office, I witnessed how zealous, devoted representation positively affects clients and their communities. My goal is to continue to exemplify such outstanding advocacy.
These prior experiences and my background in mediation shaped my overall view on litigation. I sincerely believe that everyone deserves the chance to have their voice be heard in our courts. I strive to have all my clients walk away feeling like they had their stories told throughout their cases.
Outside of the office, you can find me exploring all the unique, local restaurants that Olympia has to offer. I enjoy hiking and attending concerts for my favorite musicians. I am also fluent in Norwegian.
